Open-source licenses & attribution

DelPHI is a proprietary product of Jivica AI. It is built on, and gratefully acknowledges, the open-source components below. Each is used under its own license; their inclusion does not place DelPHI under those licenses. The complete notices — including a full copy of the Apache License 2.0 — ship with the desktop installer as THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt.

Machine-learning models

DelPHI's PHI detection is powered by clinical NER models from the OpenMed project, used under the Apache License 2.0. DelPHI's proprietary value — the clinical-code shield, redaction pipeline, and product — is layered on top of these models.

Clinical PII NER model. Bundled and run on-device in the DelPHI Lite desktop edition (exported to ONNX for local inference; trained parameters unchanged). Fine-tuned from microsoft/deberta-v3-small (MIT); trained on nvidia/Nemotron-PII (CC-BY-4.0, © NVIDIA Corporation).

Clinical PII NER model. Reached via remote inference for the web/cloud product. Fine-tuned from microsoft/deberta-v3-large (MIT); trained on nvidia/Nemotron-PII (CC-BY-4.0, © NVIDIA Corporation).

Training data: both models were trained on nvidia/Nemotron-PII (© NVIDIA Corporation), licensed CC-BY-4.0. DelPHI redistributes the trained models, not the dataset.
